Gary S. Casselman
PARTNER
BIO
Gary Casselman seeks justice for victims and their families against governments, government employees, and civilians who have caused them harm by negligent or intentional wrongs. Gary personally handles each case before during, and after trial, and strives to obtain the best possible settlement. He knows each client, the facts of their case, and the law that applies, and does not rely on a layer of assistants or other attorneys to insulate him from the client or the case.
Gary's motivation is to right the wrong. He is recognized as one of the most experienced attorneys in police misconduct cases in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. He practices in both state and federal courts of Southern California.
He has been lead counsel or co-counsel in some of the most significant police brutality and civil rights cases in Los Angeles for over 30 years. He has won numerous settlements and verdicts reaching into six and seven figures. He has published legal articles and has been quoted and featured in print, radio, television, and digital media.
The client's interest is always paramount. A low profile or high profile media exposure is adapted, as appropriate, to the best interests of the client.
Because of extensive experience in criminal defense, personal injury, and police misconduct, Gary has been able to combine his knowledge in these areas, representing his clients in each type of matter while mindful of the overlap and crossovers that affect the client's rights in other areas.
